I was given the lovely opportunity to go speak at Penryn College prep school about physiotherapy and the book, I had a live reading of the book and in the process I met a child who has cerebral palsy and attends the prep school, he was quite excited to see a story that included his disability.

I loved meeting him and seeing him in a mainstream school, he's the ideal student for my campaign as I attempt to integrate children with disabilities into society I hope to meet more children like him as we go along in growing our business.

Reading 4 Friends at Penryn Prep

I went to Penryn College prep to read my book to the kids and find out their thoughts about it, I thought there would be no better and more fitting place for me to read my book for the first time, since this school is where I attended highschool. The video of this experience is uploaded on YouTube but I thought I should share the entirety of it on the blog as well.

How to detect disability in early childhood

Early detection of disabilities can have a great influence on a child's health and well being, it's important that if a child has a disability, that it is brought to the parent's attention quickly and easily. Some disabilities are not immediately recognizable and the more we delay the knowledge of said disability the less chance therapists have to intervene and ensure the maximum potential of the child's health.
